The Role
As a finance assistant you will be working in the finance department and carrying out various tasks such as processing Purchase invoices, sales invoices, acquiring funding reconciliation, assisting the finance manager with bank reconciliation, and maintaining good housekeeping.
To be successful as a finance assistant, you should have analytical skill, quick learner, can follow the instruction and good excel skill.
Job Type: Fix term contract (6 Months)
Salary: £20k – £25k depends on the experience
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include following tasks
- Process all purchase invoices on the system regular basis
- Ensure all invoices are authorised by the responsible manager
- Generate sales invoices and process on the system (Sage 50)
- Charges Schedule reconciliation on daily basis
- Generate bacs file on daily basis
- Update acquiring funding reconciliation
- Respond to various ad hoc queries through finance mailbox
- Update holiday & sickness chart
- Ensure obey by the FCA rules
Reporting
You will report directly to the finance manager
