Assist Neighbourhood Care is a community and voluntary organisation based in Withington, South Manchester. Our priorities are to reduce social isolation in the community, provide volunteering opportunities and enable people to continue living independently.
We provide a range of support services and activities for older people designed to help them continue to live independent, active and fulfilling lives. We offer social groups where people can get together such as the film club, walks in the local parks, exercise classes, day trips and the weekly lunch club. We also provide support services such as help with gardening, telephone and in person befriending services.
